Adolescent Mental Health

  • Suicidal Thinking & Self-Harm

If your teen has talked about harming themselves they need help and should not be left alone. The crisis line is available 24/7 by calling or texting 988. We are here to help provide a comprehensive safety plan and help your teen find new skills to cope. We can also provide referrals if a higher level of care is needed.

  • Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, PTSD, Mood, Bipolar & Panic

These are the most common struggles we seen in our teens. We understand that this is hard for not only them, but also those that love them. We are here to provide support, and come up with a treatment plan that involves safety and individual care.

  • ADHD & Autism

Neurodivergence requires that a teen has a strong support system in place to help optimize their success. We are here for you. Whether this is an initial visit because your teen is struggling, or this is to establish ongoing care……we can help! We know how difficult the education system is to navigate and we want to equip you and your teen with the tools to be strong and move forward with adequate support.

  • Relationships

Teenagers can sometimes struggle immensely with friendships, love interests, and even bullying. We are here to work through those struggles together. We can also discuss things like substance abuse, sexual activity, body image, and other risk factors that may be impacting them. Our goal is to help your teen feel comfortable so they feel safe talking to someone about the problems they face and not have to face them alone.

  • LGBTQIA2S+ & Gender Affirming Care

We are here to provide non-judgmental care and provide resources to connect with others and feel safe discussing how they identify. It is imperative for them to have support and someone they trust to talk with.

  • Academics & Career

Sometimes teens just need a little guidance to find where they fit, growing up is a scary thought! It can be intimidating to think about what the future holds. We can help them explore career options, and also support them through academic struggles. We will help them identify the executive functioning skills and accountability needed to move forward.

Did you know….

Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among people age 15 to 24 in the U.S.

Nearly 20% of high school students report serious thoughts of suicide and 9% have made an attempt to take their lives, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

A survey from the Trevor Project in 2022 found that 45% of all LGBTQIA+ youth seriously considered suicide within the past year. The Trevor Project also found that LGBTQ youth who report having at least one accepting adult were 40% less likely to report a suicide attempt in the past year.

Don’t give up.
